Arlington National Cemetary
The Challenge
Design and implement a sustainable sidewalk system to handle foot traffic while blending in with the surroundings.
Our Solution
KBI Flexi-Pave was selected for installation of the first sidewalk project undertaken at Arlington National Cemetery.
Yellowstone National Park
The Challenge
Replace the existing failing asphalt trails which is continue to breaking up due to the severe freeze thaw weather conditions and stop the loose asphalt from entering the Geysers.
Our Solution
KBI Flexi®-Pave was selected because of its extreme resistance to freeze thaw conditions and non-cracking capabilities. Also there is the added benefit of allowing the water back into the Geyser Basin for the valuable replenishment of the water table.
Trees Atlanta
The Challenge
Improve tree surrounds to allow for healthier trees, reduced watering time and expense, and lower maintenance costs.
Our Solution
KBI Flexi®-Pave was selected to replace overcrowded mulch beds and compacted clay around urban tree plantings. Water time and expenses cut by nearly 90% while improving aesthetics and safety concerns.

The Challenge
Design and implement a sustainable waterside trail along the Mississippi River in New Orleans.
Our Solution
KBI Flexi®-Pave was selected for installation as part of the Reinventing the Crescent project. It provides a safe, sustainable, low maintenance surface for visitors along the river in a 20 acre park setting.
Pinellas County Sheriff’s Training Track
The Challenge
Add a proper training course for the Pinellas County Sherrif’s trainee and annual certifications to take place. Good grip and porosity were key.
Our Solution
KBI Flexi®-Pave was selected to be this surface because it provided skid resistance and a flexible feel. KBI Flexi®-Pave also is extremely porous and provides a surface with no standing water.
